 All Aboard!
Denver's historic Union Station has been renovated into a bustling transportation hub with retail, restaurants and The Crawford Hotel. And... 5 green boxes snagged the last merchant space and is on a roll to open this Saturday at 10 a.m.
Sawdust has been flying, paint splashing and boxes are packed. We're ready to roll.
Charlotte Elich, who has had a retail presence on South Pearl St. for nearly 37 years is taking the best of her two stores to historic Union Station. Look for clothing, accessories, home goods, books, succulents, gifts, cards, seasonal items... and frippery & finery.
The station features a mix of locally owned restaurants and retailers, including Mercantile Dining & Provision, a European style restaurant by Alex Seidel; Stoic & Genuine by chef Jennifer Jasinski; the Kitchen Next Door Community Bistro and The Tattered Cover bookstore.
It's no wonder so many were so keen to have Charlotte open a new stop in Union Station. USA Today recently named 5 green boxes one of Denver's 10 best shopping destinations.
