5 THINGS TO TELL YOU!

1) Women's Academy participants are preparing for upcoming job opportunities. 

Staff at the Women's Academy recently organized and held a series of mock interviews for the career track participants.

Participants gained valuable experience preparing for their professional interviews. 

The spring session will conclude this week and summer session will start July 11. 

2) The families at the Graduate Village recently enjoyed a surprise party!

The son of one of our Women's Academy graduates living at the Graduate Village  recently finished elementary school and is headed to middle school in the fall. 

All the Graduate Village families came together for a surprise graduation party to celebrate this special student. 

The Graduate Village Coordinator decorated the Community Center and they enjoyed his favorite food - pizza, of course! - and cake.

It is so beautiful seeing the children grow at the Graduate Village!

3)  We are excited to partner with the Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs! 

Wellspring Living is thrilled to announce a multi-year partnership with the Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs which kicked off with a Mother-Daughter Tea event in May. At the event, the group presented Executive Director Mary Frances Bowley with a $1,000 donation!

We were pleased to welcome two volunteer groups from GFWC at Wellspring Living Treasures Duluth and Wellspring Living Treasures Peachtree City last weekend.

Over the next couple of years, the group will be participating in fundraising initiatives, volunteer activities, in-kind donation drives, and other advocacy efforts! Thank you, GFWC!

It may be summer, but a wonderful evening celebrating freedom, transformation and hope is already planned for this fall!

5) Executive Director Mary Frances Bowley was honored at a special event earlier this month. 

Members of Wellspring Living's leadership team and the Board of Directors celebrated Executive Director Mary Frances Bowley on June 3rd at Atlanta Magazine's 2022 Women Making a Mark event.

Mary Frances was one of thirteen women selected by the magazine for their work in growing and strengthening the metro Atlanta community. Click here to read the feature about her.
