Meters Will Be Replaced Throughout Service Territory
As part of our continued effort to improve operational efficiency and to improve our outage awareness and response, we will be replacing your electric meter.

Over the next five years, we will systematically replace all meters in our service territory. To do so, we will need to briefly shut off your power in order to install your new meter.

How You Can Keep Your Power Bill Lower this Summer
Our Energy Experts have a few tips to share with you to help stay cool and keep energy costs down this summer.

  1. Keep windows, doors, blinds, and curtains closed on hot days.
  2. Open windows and doors when it cools down to let breezes in.
  3. Use fans instead of air conditioning to help you feel cooler.

Avoid Utility Scams
According to the Federal Trade Commission, fraud complaints were received from more than 2.8 million people in 2021, showing a total loss of $5.8 billion – $2.3 billion of which came from impostor scams.

Many of these scams are utility scams, where scammers pretend to be representatives of utility companies and demand immediate payment to avoid service disconnection.

Help Protect Your Home from Wildfire Threat
There are steps you can take at your home to keep you and your family safer from the threat of wildfire.

  • Create a 30-foot non-combustible buffer around your home.
  • Stack firewood away from your home.
  • Clean gutters before fire season and keep them free of debris.
  • Trim branches along your driveway and around your home.
You Can Support Clean, Renewable Electricity
You can help develop renewable energy resources in our region. You can choose to help fund wind-generated resources in our region by opting to pay an additional 1.5¢ per kilowatt hour for the electricity you use.

Enrolling in this program typically adds about $16 to the average monthly residential bill. If you are interested, you can sign up online.
Receive a Rebate for Your EV Charger
If you own an Electric Vehicle (EV) or are considering purchasing one, please keep in mind that we offer a rebate for qualifying EV chargers.

We offer a $250 rebate to customers who install a new Level 2 (240-volt) EV charger at their residence within our service territory.
