Reactions from local educators
"Opening night for Distracted gave me lots of 'food for thought.' As a teacher, it gave me refreshed perspective on students. As a parent it gave me refreshed perspective on parents with children still in the educational system. As a human being, it gave me additional perspective on how to treat others with dignity and respect. The cast was spot on in their roles, and the actors were so effective that they faded into the background as their characters took over and shared a powerful story that hundreds of thousands of students and their parents experience each year. Well done to the directors, the tech team, and the cast for their emphatic connection and presentation of a childhood/parenthood experience. Well done to each and all!" ~Robert Greybeck

"Distracted at Pentacle Theatre ... is a moving, touching, funny play with some sweet surprises and very real moments. Almost every one of us is reflected in there, somewhere. If you are in the Salem area, go see this show!" ~Cherie Ulmer
