Valhalla 46

Viking Mullica has achieved yet another milestone – the delivery of hull No. 50 of the V-46, a center console that took the V Series to an entirely new level, broadening its appeal through accommodations and amenities while maintaining the brand’s fishing boat DNA. No. 50 features a Nardo Grey gelcoat with triple Mercury Verado V12 600-hp outboards and a faux teak transom.

The V-46 brought many nuances to the V Series, including a more expansive forward lounge and raised teak bow step (above), two rows of helm chairs (below left), living accommodations in the console, as well as a machinery room (below right) to house mechanical, plumbing and electrical equipment.

Despite the challenges of COVID and supply-chain issues, production of the first V-46 marched on, and in September of 2020 hull No. 1, with a dazzling Flag Blue gelcoat, was pulled from its mold.

“This is a proud moment for our team,” Viking Mullica General Manager John Leek IV says of reaching the 50-boat mark. Having the benefit of repetitive production has helped us find a rhythm. Our employee base on the V-46 line – and all lines – has been stable since we came out of COVID. Our boatbuilders are well-trained and experienced. They do their jobs over and over very efficiently.”

The first Valhalla 46 debuted at the Viking and Valhalla VIP Boat Show in January of 2021.

Eighteen Valhalla 46s have received custom towers from the Viking subsidiary Palm Beach Towers. “The Valhalla 46 has so much to offer – size, space, performance, stability, ample seating and excellent fishability,” says John. “And the fit and finish and quality of ride can’t be beat.”
