$5,000 Stretch Grant Offered!

Dear Fans and Friends of Ella Jenkins,

This is a big deal.

We've been offered a $5,000 stretch grant from a neighbor and fan of Ella's!
If we hit $60,000 by tonight at midnight CST, we will secure the grant that will seal the deal, and successfully close out the campaign!

I know you're tired, tapped out and ready to be done, but with just a handful of hours to go, this will make the difference to the campaign and film!

For those of you who have already donated and shared, thank you!
I encourage you to share the campaign one final time directly with others so that they can contribute so we can make our goal!

(Editable phone and email scripts are linked here, for ease of use! Press links are below including Chaz Ebert's post that went live after the morning email.)

For those of you who haven't shared and have been meaning to get around to it- now is the time to share, post, call, tweet, email and talk it up!

The campaign has to hit $60,000 by midnight CST to secure the $5,000 that will top off the campaign in time.

As a thank you, one of today's backers will receive a private screening of the completed film in Chicago with members of the film team. (And Ella contingent upon her schedule.) Your help today will ensure we make it to that screening room!

I can't thank you all enough. Thanks for helping us get to the goal!

-Tim Ferrin

Help the film about Ella Jenkins secure it's final match grant and reach the goal as the campaign ends tonight!

Ella Jenkins is an American pioneer, a national treasure who broke race and gender barriers, and who developed an entire discipline of music that didn't exist before she blazed her trail. And at 90 years-old, she's still at it, traveling, teaching and singing songs for children and families everywhere.

Today is the last day to support a film about her extraordinary life. This film needs to be made now. I'm a supporter, and you should be too:

For those of you who have donated in the last couple of days, I will be contacting you as soon as I can via email to thank you directly for your contribution.
Your support has been noticed, counted and very much appreciated.
