Water's Edge Youth Group
Wednesdays, March 22 , April 12 | 6 - 7:30 PM | OB Campus Youth room
WE Youth will continue gathering on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month until summer! Join Stasi to dive deep into the topic: "Becoming Peacemakers in a Culture of Violence".
We can't deny that we live immersed in a culture of violence, in so many ways. Over six sessions, we will study what the Christian scriptures have to say about peace & violence, explore systemic oppression as the root of violence, develop tools for countering and preventing violence, and deepen our faith identity as peacemakers.
Invite your friends--all students from 6th through 12th grade are welcome to join at any time! Come to the Youth Room door on the North Side of the church for entry (on Saratoga Ave). We'll provide yummy treats, new friends, deep discussion, and lots of fun!

Wellness Series: Women's Cycle Wisdom
Sunday, March 19 | 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM | OB Sanctuary | No registration required
Our March Wellness Series event will be a study of Women's Cycle Wisdom with Jessica Connolly (holistic coach, doula, herbalist, and mama to four daughters who are fourth-generation OBceans).
Cycle wisdom invites us to the awareness of the cycles all around us: our breath, the moon, the seasons. As women, we are guided by a powerful cycle within us as well: our menstrual cycle. We’ll explore why this cycle is not actually a curse, but like any other divinely created natural cycle, can lead us into the wisdom of outward expansion and restorative retreat, allowing us to show up in our everyday lives with reverence and presence.
This workshop is for women of all ages who desire to better understand their own body, and who wish to empower younger loved ones to embrace their feminine superpowers!

This conference will examine how to make sense of the changes of culture in this digital era to better understand ourselves and those who aren't in church. This conference is a conversation about the ways the church can enter into the disorienting and exhilarating experience of being present at the birth of a new era—a Re-Wilding movement in its own right.
