Promoting Your Business - Sidewalk Signs
Through the City's Chicago ChiBiz Strong Initiative, businesses can now display sidewalk signs in front of their establishments after applying for and receiving an approved permit. The permit allows one sign per address and comes with a decal to display on the sign.
|

Sidewalk cafes can operate year-round, giving the streetscape a vibrant and inviting look. With a sidewalk cafe permit application, Brick-and-mortar retail food establishments can extend onto the sidewalk directly in front of or adjacent to their business.

Home & Business Protection Program (HBPP)
The City will provide select rebates covering outdoor security camera systems, cloud storage for video footage, outdoor motion-sensor lighting, vehicle GPS trackers, and subscription costs purchased on or after Monday, June 6th, 2022. The Installation costs of cameras, lighting, and GPS tracking devices are currently not eligible for reimbursement.
