1. Apply for the Mark & Dorothy Danzker Scholarship For Excellence (or send to a friend!)
The application window for the Mark & Dorothy Danzker Scholarship for Excellence has been extended to May 27, 2022!

What you need to know:
There are eight post-secondary scholarships of $1,000 each
Applicants must be 17 to 25 years of age
Applications can be mailed OR dropped in person at the Folklorama office

  • Coordinator, Marketing, Communications, & Engagement (15-month contract)

Folklorama is proud to announce that we are now members of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerces’ CODE Coalition. As a CODE Coalition Member, we come together with other Winnipeg organizations to collectively work to further diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace.

Congratulations to past Adult Ambassador General, Calvin Loi, on being awarded the Canada Life Community Volunteer Grant! The Canada Life Community Volunteer Grant is given to individuals who are involved with charitable organizations in their communities. Chai Folk Ensemble Concert: 'A Great Light'
This year, Chai will be launching a brand new album, the first in over ten years. This record will represent Winnipeg’s Jewish community, from those who have been here for generations to those who have just arrived.

In addition to the recording, this project will feature a full-length performance of the album through both song and dance.
