NOVEMBER 2021 E-NEWSLETTER
As we press through year-end asks and hope for a strong GivingTuesday, we must consider the equally important side of Giving Season: thanking our donors, board members, and volunteers for their generosity this year. When deciding what donor appreciation will look like from your organization, there are important dos and don'ts to consider.
In Orr Group's latest article, Amy Shaw, Director, reflects on some of our teammates' donor appreciation tips - and foibles - to impart several lessons and best practices for how to show donors your gratitude.

Tisha has made an incredible impact - as a volunteer, fundraiser, and leader - for countless missions, and we are incredibly honored to have her as part of our team. Congrats, Tisha!

The Giving Season is here!
Earlier this month, many of our teammates gathered together safely in our offices as well as virtually for an "Orrs-giving" celebration! The team gave thanks around the table, then broke into a Thanksgiving-themed game of Family Feud which generated some healthy and friendly competition between the two offices!
As part of our gratitude this month, our teammates also helped raise funds to support local food banks in the DC and NY areas. Between our two office teams, we raised a total of $1,906 which will provide 6,940 meals to families in need!
