As we welcome March, we take time to celebrate Women’s History Month, honoring the women who have shaped our world. This month is an opportunity to recognize the trailblazers who have advanced education, science, civil rights, politics, and countless other fields. In our school, we encourage students to explore the herstories of inspiring women, both past and present, and reflect on the importance of gender equity in our society. Let us celebrate the resilience, leadership, and impact of women across history and in our community today.
Don’t miss our school’s production of Les Misérables, running for the next two weekends at the middle school PAC! Our talented students have been working hard to bring this powerful story to life, and we encourage everyone to come out and support the cast and crew.
We also extend warm wishes to our Muslim community as Ramadan begins. May this month of reflection, compassion, and renewal bring peace and blessings to all who observe.

Our SnoDaze Pep Fest was a blast as we celebrated our winter sports athletes and their impressive achievements this season! Students' knowledge was tested as they competed in trivia. The highlight of the event was the much-anticipated Staff vs. Student Basketball Game, where SLPHS staff secured another big W. The energy was high, school spirit was strong, and everyone enjoyed the friendly competition. Thank you to all who participated and made the event a success! | | | |
ST. LOUIS PARK PUBLIC SCHOOLS 2025 MINNESOTA STUDENT SURVEY | |

Our school district is inviting students in grades 9-11 to participate in the 2025 Minnesota Student Survey (MSS). This survey is voluntary and has been conducted in schools across our state every three years since 1989. The survey is anonymous and confidential. The privacy of students is protected, as students do not provide their names, student identification numbers, or other personal information. No individual or their families can be identified. The results are reported on our students as a whole.
Questions on the survey asks students about their activities, opinions, behaviors and experiences. Students respond to questions on school climate, bullying, out-of-school activities, healthy eating, emotional health, substance use and connections with school and family. Questions about sexual behaviors are asked only of high school students. This information is used by communities and schools to develop effective programs and provide better services for students.
The survey is administered online. Students will have the ability to read the questions or have the questions read to them through the technology they use to access the survey. The survey takes approximately 25 minutes, or half a class period, to complete.
Our school district has informed parents of such surveys in the past and now federal law also requires us to notify parents of this school activity. The Minnesota Student Survey (MSS) will be administered in our high school on March 26 . If you would like to review the survey please contact Jinah Schad (see contact information below).

Students may also decline to take any part of the survey, or the whole survey, and are informed of that option by staff on the day of survey administration. If you do not want your student to participate in the Minnesota Student Survey, please know that we will be sharing links to a passive consent form/notice to parents by mid-March with a reminder that this survey will be administered in April. These forms will allow you to opt your student out of the survey.

SEAC provides a space for families, educators, and community members to collaborate and advocate for students with disabilities.
