COLLEGE FAIR

In conjunction with MACAC (MN Association for College Admission Counselors), SLPHS hosted a College Fair today with over 100 representatives from various schools. 

SPRING CONFERENCES

Parents Info:

Spring conferences will be held the week of March 10-14th. 



  • Evening Virtual:

Teachers will offer virtual conferences in the evenings Monday, March 10th through Thursday, March 13th.


  • The sign-up process will take place through our Student Support Time App.


  • The sign-up link and information will be sent out on Tuesday, March 4th by email.

In-Person Daytime:

  • On Friday, March 14th, families will be able to attend in-person conferences with teachers throughout the day in an arena-style format.


  • If any of your student’s teachers are part-time, you can expect communication from them directly about their Friday availability.

SPECIAL EDUCATION ADVISORY COUNCIL

Join the Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)!


The St. Louis Park Schools Student Services Department invites parents to be part of SEAC, a group dedicated to advising on special education services, policies, and programs. SEAC provides a space for families, educators, and community members to collaborate and advocate for students with disabilities.

We encourage all parents of students with disabilities to attend our final SEAC meeting of the year—your insights are invaluable in shaping the future of special education in our schools!

THE EMPOWER SCHOLARSHIP!


Interested in a career in Health care after high school?


The EMPOWER (Encourage Minority Participation in Occupations with Emphasis on Rehabilitation) Scholarship, administered by the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute encourages and supports ethnically diverse students who are pursuing a career in a medical or rehabilitation

field.

Applicants must identify how they will use their education and training and demonstrate their interest in rehabilitation.


Selection is based on the applicant’s stated intentions, past achievements, need and graduation ranking.

The scholarship is made possible by a generous gift from the David M. Hersey Endowment Fund of the Allina Health Foundation.

Transition Plus- Hopkins/St. Louis Park is hosting a Transition Resource Fair.


A free event to explore resources and vendors that are available for students during and after the transition from high school to adult life.


A variety of vendors will be available to give you information and answer your questions.

WHO WILL BE THERE?

Open to students, ages 14 and up, families, teachers, and community members. You do not need to be a student of Transition Plus to attend.
