PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Greetings SLPHS Students and Families!

As we head into Spring Break, I want to express my gratitude for being such a brilliant learning community. May you spend this well-deserved time to relax, recharge, and experience joy with loved ones. Let’s finish off 2025 strong in Q4.  Have a wonderful break, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on April 7!

Take care, be well, and GO PARK!

SOAR STUDENTS ATTEND CITY-LED IFTAR CELEBRATION

This past Friday, SOAR students had the incredible opportunity to volunteer and speak at a community event hosted by St. Louis Park Mayor Nadia Mohamed and Golden Valley Mayor Roslyn Harmon. It was inspiring to see our students share the stage with leaders such as Rep. Ilhan Omar, Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan, and Senator Tina Smith while serving over 200 community members. They also engaged with senate staff, community leaders, and mayors from surrounding cities. A special shoutout to Senior Anisa Kahin and Junior Nasiira Kahin, who were featured in the MPR story, as well as Aurora Pascual (11th), Kaleyiah Munoz (11th), Diceyanna Munoz (12th), Yas Abdullahi (12th), Nafisa Kahin (12th), Janet Kromah (12th), Tina Benyam (12th), and Suwaydeh Aden (9th) for their contributions. We are so proud of their leadership and service! Read more here.

The JA-DECA Connection: Learning, Leading, Succeeding

Part 1

DECA students spent a day leading and teaching Kindergarten and grade 2 at Peter Hobert. Students learned about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness from Junior Achievement’s JA in a Day curriculum.

Stay tuned for Parts 2 and 3 later this Spring, when DECA takes Peter Hobert’s grade 4 to BizTown in April and DECA students go back to Peter Hobert to teach grade 1 in May.
