WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Annual high school fundraising opportunity: We’re all in for our students!

From Oct. 24-Nov. 3, please join us to raise funds to enhance the student experience at St. Louis Park High School. About 75% of funds raised will increase access for all students to attend academic field trips. The remainder will go toward student incentives, the cell phone caddy classroom pilot program and additional needs throughout the year.

Donation details:

  • Every dollar counts. You can show your support by donating to our GoFundMe site at: http://www.gofundme.com/slphs-peac-2024
  • Suggested donation is $50 per family. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
  • 100% of donations will go toward academic field trips and other student incentives.
  • If your employer matches charitable donations (e.g., UnitedHealth Group, 3M, Medtronic), submit your GoFundMe donation to your company’s match program on behalf of the St Louis Park High School Parent Engagement Advisory Committee. (No period after St)
  • Contributions are 100% tax deductible.

By investing in our students, staff and school, we are investing in our amazing community. Thank you for considering this opportunity. If you have questions, please reach out at: slphsPEAC@gmail.com.

National School Bus Safety Week is next week

Student safety on the road is a top priority at SLP Schools. National School Bus Safety Week, October 21-25, highlights the measures our bus and van drivers take to ensure all our students travel safely to and from school.

Our Park Adam drivers worked with students at each elementary school building earlier this month to provide education on safe boarding, exiting and behavior while on the bus.

To support safety, we remind the community to obey bus signals and traffic laws. We each have a collective responsibility to ensure our students can arrive to their learning environment safely. By staying alert and mindful of school buses on the road, everyone in our community plays a role in safeguarding our students.
