If your student is registered to take the PSAT/NMSQT. Please review the following information and keep it for your reference.

Exam type: Digital

Exam Dates: Tuesday, October 24 & Wednesday October 25

Exam Time: 8:25 AM

Exam Location: SLP Central (district) Office 

Directions: 6300 Walker Street, St. Louis Park. 

An email was sent on 10/3/23 to parents and students with specific details regarding-date/time/location.

Students: Please plan to bring your FULLY CHARGED CHROMEBOOK, a pencil/pen and, if desired, water and a snack. You will be using the BLUEBOOK app on your chromebook (preloaded by SLP). Before you test we will lead you through a digital readiness check.

The exam will take approximately 2.5 hours. You are expected to resume your normal schedule at the high school after the exam. Please plan accordingly.

Advanced Placement Exam Registration

If your student is currently enrolled in an AP Course at SLP, they’ve made a great choice. AP classes are rigorous and engaging; scoring well on AP exams may allow them to earn college credit, advanced placement or both, possibly saving them time and money in their post-secondary education.

AP exams are given in May. If your student would like to take the AP Exam they need to register and pay for the exam by November 3rd.

• Lead the Ultimate Sport for the Mind: the FIRST Robotics team for SLPHS - established in 2009, this team brings together students who have a love of robotics. The team is looking for a new leader who will support the team in 2024 by helping students raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots. A new leader will have access to a very supportive community of team leaders from other schools. To learn more about this role, please contact Ken Rosen at krosen@firstinspires.org.
