SCHOOLWIDE UPDATES

The class of 2026 will take the ACT on Tuesday, Feb 25, 2025

The test is free and no registration is necessary, however students need to create their online MyACT account and pre-test preparation prior to February 25th.

Wednesday, January 29th - Park Connections Class is dedicated to this process.

During class your student will:

Caregivers, please check in with your 11th grade students and encourage them to attend Park Connect and complete these steps. If they are unable to attend, they should contact their Park Connect teacher to schedule WIN time the following week.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

PREPARING FOR FINALS EXAMS IS INTENSE!

Park's 9th graders took a break from studying for their Geometry cumulative final exam by doing a stress-relief activity as part of the BARR program.

Students wrote down their stressors, placed them in. a plastic egg, and "juggled" all that stress with the classmates at their table. Then they reflected on the challenges of dealing with stress, and strategies for managing it. After that, it was back to work!

THERAPY BUNNIES

Natural Helpers welcomed Therapy Bunnies on the Friday before finals.  Students took advantage to de-stress prior to taking tests!
