Workforce Solutions Alamo is committed to growing the workforce of the future! We provide Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) youth activities consistent with the governor’s vision of strengthening the academic and future workplace outcomes for youth facing challenges and barriers to success.

Our Youth Empowerment Services! (YES) program offers no-cost services to eligible youth between the ages of 16-24. These services help youth gain the necessary education, training, and skills needed to enter the workforce and meet employer needs.

Youth Leadership Month is observed each year in February. The aim of the day is simple — to get young people to take up leadership roles and contribute to the community in their own ways. Students are taught to assume leadership roles in their schools, communities, and the workforce. This is a great way to build the next generation of citizens who are also committed to bringing the best to their communities.
