Dutch Creek Estates (Ph1&2) Road Resurfacing Update

Longitudinal Joint Sealant: 2 days, beginning Monday, July 13

An approved 6:00 a.m. start has been granted to take advantage of cooler morning temperatures and minimize vehicle traffic crossing the freshly placed sealant, reducing the potential for material tracking and ensuring proper adhesion and curing.

HMA Surface Course: 4 days, beginning Tuesday, July 14

Aggregate Shoulders: 1 day

Topsoil and Seeding Restoration: 2 days

Thermoplastic Pavement Markings: 1 day

Final Project Walk-Through: Date to be determined 

Please use caution, follow all traffic-control signage, and avoid driving over freshly placed joint sealant. The sealant is typically traffic-ready within 30–60 minutes. Thank you for your patience as these final improvements are completed.

Party in the Burg is back!

Join us Friday, July 24 from 6–9 PM at Rescue Squad Park for a 21+ night out featuring live music by the Mac OBrien Band and food from Barrio Smash Burgers.

Vehicle & Boat Launch Stickers Now Available at: Johnsburg Mobil

Sticker fees:

• Johnsburg residents: $10

• Non-residents: $50

• Second-half renewal stickers are prorated

• Not available for Commercial Use

Please complete the application and submit payment before receiving your sticker. Illinois e-Pay is the preferred payment method.

Decals must be placed on the lower passenger-side corner of the vehicle windshield.

Village Landscape Waste Pick-Up

The Village's residential yard waste pick-up began April 1 and includes the removal of up to 8 bags, cans or bundles of landscape waste per week.

When bundling brush, each bundle must but be secured with biodegradable twine, no longer than 4’ in length, 2’ in diameter and no branch can be larger than 3” in diameter
