Blissful Gardens
Start-Up Business
of the Year
Award Winner
|
|
|
Awarded to a 1-2 year old business which has built a solid foundation for moving into the future, as measured by consistent overall growth (both in # of employees & sales growth), innovations of products/services, response to adversity, and contributions to the community, this is the Start-Up Business of the Year Award.
This company is designed and operated to accommodate residents with special needs - memory care, non-ambulatory, limited mobility, and reliance on highly trained staff to provide care. This business fills an affordable gap between a typical assisted living facility and a skilled nursing facility. Their rates are extremely competitive and they have the capability to provide care to residents that need more care than a typical assisted living facility.
Despite the burdens placed on businesses this past year, this company has built out both of its phases already, and increasing resident capacity to 25. Their staff and construction crew has been hired from the local community and engaged with local business to support them to “Buy local and engage local.”
With a physician as a managing partner, special programs are run for residents with dementia and memory issues. In addition, Wander Vision System is setup to track residents to avoid wandering.
Congratulations to Blissful Gardens, who continues to position itself for success in our community, and is the recipient of the 2020 Start-Up Business of the Year!
