Re-Entry Task Force Update

Our Re-Entry Task Force continues to explore how we can safely resume activities at CBS.

Although we won’t be having live, in-person services for the High Holy Days, we are working hard to be ready for other activities as conditions permit. This includes Shabbat services, weekday minyanim and our Religious School.

Our primary areas of focus at this time are:
  • Refining and documenting the health and safety protocols necessary for re-entry
  • Determining sources and costs for the items we will need
  • Continuing to explore alternative ways to connect with our members

Our Task Force will continue to meet weekly and we closely follow national and local developments with the pandemic. We also track what is happening with local synagogues and with Jewish organizations nationwide, and we receive input from our rabbis and from the Pinellas County Board of Rabbis.

While the Re-Entry Task Force concentrates on health and safety as well as building preparedness, there are other groups hard at work developing programming and content for our CBS community as we find new ways to connect with each other. This includes the Programming Committee, the Religious School Committee, the Adult Education Committee and the High Holy Day planning group.

We are committed to keeping you up to date as we make decisions about re-opening our shul. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or comments at  [email protected] .
