An Update from The Sea Pines Security Department
|
|
Recently with the influx of direct to home delivery services, the Sea Pines Security Department has seen an increased number of delivery carriers attempting to enter Sea Pines to facilitate deliveries. These delivery services, such as grocery or food delivery services (e.g., Instacart and Grub Hub), are considered commercial vehicles and will be charged the $10 daily gate entry fee to enter Sea Pines.
Per the Sea Pines gate entry policy: Certain commercial vehicles are exempt from the fees under the policy.
They are:
- Newspaper delivery personnel;
- US Postal Service;
- Federal Express, Airborne, UPS, DHL, Amazon etc.
- Utility companies;
- Charities (Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.) marked vehicles;
- School buses; and
- At the discretion of the Director of Safety, Security & Transportation.
Commercial vehicles not covered under this section of the policy are subject to the $10 daily commercial vehicle fee to enter Sea Pines.

Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) Community Poll
Feedback Requested By July 29 at 5:00 PM

Sea Pines CSA is conducting a short 3 question poll to collect your feedback and input regarding low-speed vehicles and their potential use within the Sea Pines Community.
The poll collector will be open Monday, July 15, 2019 through Monday, July 29, 2019 at 5:00 PM.
Your feedback is important and will be provided to our CSA Board of Directors, Committee Members and Staff to assist in the decision making process.

Architectural Review Board Open Positions For 2020
|
|
The Sea Pines Architectural Review Board has two Board openings beginning January 1, 2020. Deadline to submit an application is August 1, 2019.
- (1) full position Architectural Review Board Members
- Appointed by the CSA Board of Directors
- Serve a 3 year term.
- (1) alternate ARB Position Board Member
- Appointed by the CSA/ASPPPO Board of Directors
- Serves a 1 year term

Town of Hilton Head to conduct storm water repair on Mizzenmast Court
- Work will begin the week of July 29th.
- Project will include replacing a 24 inch drainage pipe.
- While repairs are taking place, owners and guests will need to park in the open space near 17 tee.
- Traffic control will be provided; please drive with caution.
- Work will take place between 7 AM and 6 PM.
- The repairs will take approximately 1-2 weeks, weather permitting.

Beach Boardwalk Repairs Underway
- Work is underway to repair eleven (11) boardwalks owned by CSA, that sustained storm-damage from Hurricane Matthew.
- Boardwalks #22, #23, #24, #29, #33A, #32 and #40 are completed and open for use.
- Our contractor will begin making repairs to boardwalk #21 the week of July 29th. It should take 1-2 weeks to complete (weather permitting), and will remain open during construction.
- Hours of work will be from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
