The Markets of Remington Farm

A Farmer’s Market hosted by The Markets of Remington Farm takes place Saturday, August 1, 2026 beginning at 9:00a.m. at 3519 Chapel Hill Rd (next to Prem Magnetics). The event will continue to take place each month on the first Saturday of the month through October.Click here for more details. Additionally, they have a year round Remington Farm Shop, with locally made products from small businesses in and around our area.

First Secure Bank to Hold Free Shred Event:

August 22 (10AM-1PM)

The First Secure State Bank of Johnsburg event will take place on Aug. 22 at 3503 N. Chapel Hill Road, at the corner of North Chapel Hill Road and Reed Avenue. Attendees may shred up to five boxes or bags of paper, such as old financial documents, tax-related documents (after a general retention period of seven years) and old medical records
