Around 1:30 this morning, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit central Myanmar, with 6.4 magnitude aftershocks. Tremors were felt in India, China and Thailand. In Bangkok, a 30-floor building that was under construction collapsed.

Pastor Lu reports, "In the Chiang Mai area, we also experienced quite strong shaking, but thankfully, nothing was destroyed. The worst damage is in Myanmar, especially in the Mandalay area. 7 Jesus Foot Soldiers are working with the rescue efforts.

Pray for the people of Myanmar who are already suffering so much under the current political situation.

• Pray for those who have lost loved ones or their loved ones are missing.
• Pray for the hundreds still trapped under debris to be freed.
• Pray for those involved in rescue efforts, for doctors, nurses, and those giving aid; remember our Jesus Foot Soldiers.
• for believers who have the opportunity to give comfort and hope in the name of Jesus.

May the precious people of Myanmar find comfort and hope in you today.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
