Nassau County
Bar Association

July 8, 2020,

Dear NCBA Members:

I hope you are well, continuing to stay safe, and are enjoying the summer. I am extremely proud of the way our membership and staff has adapted to the changes and obstacles we have faced due to COVID-19 and look to future with optimism.

As you may know, the BBQ at the Bar, our annual “kick-off” to the new bar year, is held each fall. With outdoor gathering restrictions slowly lifting, we would like to consider the possibility of holding the BBQ with guidelines in place to keep everyone safe.

Before we move forward, we would appreciate hearing your thoughts on holding this event, given the guidelines and changes we will need to make this year. We believe that the BBQ can be executed safely for all with the following guidelines in place

  • All attendees must come and leave at their designated time slot (pre-registration required)
  • All attendees must wear a mask
  • Tables will be separated with a 6-ft. distance in between, and will be placed in the parking lot in addition to the lawn for additional social distance spacing
  • All food will be served by waitstaff only with gloves and masks

With your cooperation, and the help of our staff, I know we can make this event as successful and safe as possible for all.

Please click the link below to fill out a one-question survey regarding the annual BBQ at the Bar. I look forward to your responses and to seeing each of you at Domus in the near future.

Regards,
Dorian R. Glover
NCBA President
