Our NAWBO San Diego Chapter now has its inaugural DEIB Committee members, and we are excited to introduce you to the stellar members of this newly founded committee.

The mission of the committee is focused on promoting and advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging among the chapter members. The committee members will support our chapter in scaling its practices and activities so all our members can enjoy the opportunities we offer to thrive and grow their businesses. We aim to be a space where we are open to new ideas and celebrate each other’s differences, accomplishments, and successes.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to any one of them to share ideas you may have or to express interest in supporting them. Inclusion is a collective responsibility and endeavor that we all have for one another as NAWBO members. One of the first steps to becoming an inclusive and equitable business owner and community leader is self-reflection and building our awareness about biases we may have. And we all have them, by the way!
