Dear Christian Warriors:

The call for national repentance is growing ! Our brothers and sisters in Christ in the United Kingdom today held a "National Day of Repentance and Prayer." At the same time in Zimbabwe, they are humbling themselves during a three day "Zimbabwe Kneels" national time of repentance. Another Kenya Kneels repentance call is set for October 7-9; Nigeria Kneels is set for November 19. 

And we are calling you and your prayer partners to join us beginning Thursday evening, September 22, at 7 PM in your time zone, for a seventy-two hour time of prayer, fasting and repentance, coinciding on Sunday, September 25, with a National Day of Prayer and Repentance throughout the USA. That Day will also mark the beginning of the Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, the start of ten days of awe, leading up to the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, on October 4. Clearly this is a time to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, so that He may hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our lands.

God's Word in 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14, declares that : "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people called by My name will humble themselves, pray, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."   

All nations now need healing. It's time once again to use this spiritual solution. To that end, National Day of Repentance, focused on encouraging repentance throughout all nations, calls for "His people called by His name" wherever located, to join, in their own homes or churches, as One Body during a seventy two hour period from 7 PM Thursday September 22 through 7 PM Sunday September 25, humbly praying, fasting as He may direct, and repenting from personal and national sins.

The LORD already sees us as One Body: 1 Corinthians 12: 12-27 says:

" For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free---and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, ' Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, ' is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, ' Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,' is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 

And the eye cannot say to the hand, ' I have no need of you'; nor again the head to the feet, 'I have no need of you.' No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one members suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually." 

These global days of repentance, and each national day of repentance, turn us back to Him and awaken each of us to His view of each of us as His Body     ( Romans 12:5). And we are His Bride; He is the soon-returning Bridegroom.
