76 ENTERTAINMENT COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

Design and Budget Approved

for Segments 1 and 2!

The Dutton family has been hard at work on their property this year. Not only have they repaired from the terrible fire in 2022, but they've greatly improved their theater front and have more exciting additions coming soon, all in support of a better 76 Country Boulevard, plus being open for business. The show must and does go on!

A series of design development sessions were held from September 2022 through January 2023 by the 76 Design Collective, led by Great River Engineering in collaboration with the City of Branson and the 76ECID. Creative experts and several property owners, city officials and staff along with District representatives joined the collective team to evaluate and develop innovative options for streetscape improvements in the 76 Entertainment District.

The engineering and design of elements to improve safety and aesthetics above ground, happened simultaneously with those for the much-needed central water line update and underground utility corridor in segments 1 and 2.

After a thorough review of design direction, probable costs, and financing options, the 76ECID Board of Directors voted yesterday to proceed with the project, approving a $32,500,000 budget for segments 1 and 2, from the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway to the Branson Ferris Wheel.

The next steps include finalizing design documents, acquiring private property easements, coordinating with utility companies, and of course ongoing and vigilant value engineering throughout.
