Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Dear Friend,

A recent graduate shares,

"The Gatehouse has been my place of safety in the worst storm of my life.  It literally has been my life's breath.  I now have a solid foundation ... that is helping me excel, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.  The Gatehouse will always be a partner in my success, and the measuring stick by which I can make healthy choices."

What a Christmas gift! The best gifts really are the ones that have to do with people. At the end of the day, we are the only thing that lasts, and even though we're flawed "sheep," for some reason God chooses people to help people.

During this holiday season as you give physical gifts as well as pray for your family, city and friends...thank you for remembering the current Gatehouse families and the new ones to come in 2018.  They pray for rescue from daily trauma, relief from pain, and restoration inside and out. The question for each of us is: "What if I'm the answer to their prayers?"

We can be.

May your Christmas be a delight as you enjoy your gifts, and also enjoy re-gifting some of your gifts of time, talent and treasure so you can be an answer to someone's prayer. And their lives will be changed forever.

YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS YEAR
ADOPT A FAMILY
Adopt a Gatehouse family in 2018

Think of what it takes to run your household for a year and multiply that times the 85 households -- 85 women and 145 kids who The Gatehouse will support in 2018.

Through your 1 or 2 year commitment to the Adopt a Family Giving Circle, you help provide the annual budget for food, clothing, housing, transportation, child care, legal aid, higher education and other needs for a Gatehouse family.

When a woman's basic needs are fulfilled, she is freed to heal, set goals, begin a new career and take care of her children.

For more info on adopting a family, email wade.parker@gatehousegrapevine.com.
