Dear Members,
I hope you are doing well. With spring upon us and hopefully some warmth soon, it is time to plan for our annual meeting on April 24, 2022 in Annapolis, MD. After two years of virtual and social distancing, AMTA Maryland is proud to bring back in-person continuing education and the annual meeting this year.
With 2022 being a License Renewal Year, we will provide the 7 mandatory Continuing Education Units - Ethics, Cultural Diversity, and Communicable Diseases. As a reminder, the mandatory CEs will not roll over from the 2020 renewal cycle.
Lunch, ore-convention, mid-morning and afternoon snacks are included. This April event also includes our Annual Meeting. All members are encouraged to join us to learn more about the chapter, leadership, committees, and how we are active in Maryland in support of our profession. In addition, election results will be announced.
As a thank you to our members, we will have a professional photographer to take head shots during the morning. You will have full rights to use the photo taken.
Volunteers and attendees will be required to adhere to the most current CDC recommendations as well as state, local, and venue requirements in effect at the time of the event.
A reminder: The call for candidates was recently e-mailed to our members. If you wish to apply for one of the positions, please request an application and return it by March 29, 2022. Elections will be taking place online this year. Please keep an eye out for your ballot and vote!
We hope you will join us.
Sincerely,
David Madon
