Dear 7th grade families,
On Wednesday, January 11, the seventh grade is going to the Harvard Medical School MEDscience program. In 7th grade science, students have been studying the human body, most recently the musculoskeletal system. They have been learning about how our muscles need energy to function and how, through breathing, our muscles take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide.
At Harvard Medical School, students problem-solve as medical diagnosticians by interacting with a lifelike robot in the medical simulation lab and perform an intubation. We’re excited about these hands-on experiences that will broaden their understanding of the human body and medical interventions.
