Welcome, New Raptors!

  • PIE pays for the AMHS JSTOR subscription that gives our students access to a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources for research? 
  • PIE volunteers also operate the AMHS Spirit Store - and inventory has been restocked!

Principal Reese's Newsletters

School Bus Information

As a county-wide magnet school, AMHS offers centralized, parent-assisted bus transportation service. Bus stops are within five miles of a student’s primary residence. 


Please refer to the CCSD Bus Stop Lookup Tool for the most accurate information regarding stops and routes as routes and times may change before and after the start of school. Several other important links, including the FirstView Bus Tracking App, can be found on the CCSD Transportation Page (see links on left side of the page).

Summer News

Seniors Jacob Beuk (‘26) and Gregory Fletcher (‘26) who were featured as 2nd place winning “Trashformers” for the turtle they created entirely out of refuse found on Dorchester Road! Way to take care of our city and use your artistry for good, Raptors. Thank you Keep Charleston Beautiful for providing this meaningful opportunity!!

Hope and Healing Project: We also could not be more proud of AMHS Senior Sophia Passyn for this ground-breaking initiative with MUSC to help cancer patients with parking costs! Way to represent!

From AMHS Raptor Athletics:Our custom 3D printed Remy figures arrived safely. A very special thank you to @red2riches2026for the incredible work! He's now getting acclimated to his new home in the gym lobby trophy cases for all to enjoy!

The Raptor Report is published weekly by AMHS PIE on Wednesdays during the school year except for holiday breaks.



Faculty, students, and parents are encouraged to submit articles and/or pictures of AMHS events, honors, and needs.
