MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents, 

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Our theme this year is Rooted in Grace, Growing in Virtue. Throughout the year, we will reflect on God's grace, which is freely given to each of us. We are truly blessed to have a God who pours out His grace in abundance. In response to this gift, we are all called to grow in virtue.

Each month, we will focus on a specific virtue, learning what it means and how we can cultivate it through prayer, our words, and our actions. We also invite all families to join us for our first Adoration on August 21 at 10:00 a.m. Following Adoration, we will hold a brief prayer service for students in grades 1-8. 

At the conclusion of the prayer service, each student will receive a virtue pin. Students may wear these pins on their Mass uniforms throughout the year as visible reminders of our call to grow in virtue through the choices we make each day. 

We look forward to sharing more about our theme throughout the year, and I am excited for our community to journey together as we grow in holiness. 

All families are invited to attend our Back to School Nights on August 25 for PK-5 and August 27 for grades 6-8. The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a schoolwide assembly in the gym. During the assembly, the Parent Association and school administration will share important information with our families. Following the assembly, families will have the opportunity to attend classroom sessions and meet with their children's teachers.

Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM)

All persons who engage in ministry in the Diocese of Austin (clergy, religious, employees, and lay volunteers) must complete the EIM registration and training through VIRTUS® Online in order to serve in ministry. New applicants, and existing applicants who have never attended an EIM Workshop, must attend an in-person EIM Workshop to fulfill their initial EIM compliance requirement. If you are a new applicant who has submitted an EIM Application and need to attend an EIM Workshop, contact your parish/school EIM site administrator regarding the status of an in-person EIM Workshop at your location.

All volunteers must wear EIM name badges to indicate they are volunteers with Holy Family Catholic School. Once you have completed the EIM workshop, please contact Dr. Danna Kelemen for a new or replacement badge, or if you have any questions regarding EIM compliance.
