School Bus Information- As a county-wide magnet school, AMHS offers centralized, parent-assisted bus transportation service. Bus stops are within five miles of a student’s primary residence. View this document to see the routes, bus stops and times in a PDF. The CCSD Transportation Page has updated information as well as links to the bus stop look-up tool and the school bus tracking app that many of our families find useful. The Firstview Classic app was updated to Firstview 1.0 so if you currently have the Firstview Classic app on your phone from last year, you should delete it and download the new one. This year’s bus code is N6G3F.

Congratulations to Vanessa Nguyen '26, who was recognized as a Coolidge Senator this summer as one of the top 100 applicants for the Coolidge Scholarship. This year, nearly 5,000 students from across the country in the Class of 2026 applied (2%). Selection is based on academic excellence, interest in public policy, appreciation of Coolidge values, humility, and service. Coolidge Senators receive a one-time scholarship in addition to an all-expenses paid trip to the Coolidge Senator Summit.
This summit took place from July 29-August 3. Vanessa and the other Coolidge Senators visited both Boston, MA, where Coolidge began his political career, and Plymouth Notch, VT, where Coolidge grew up. They had the opportunity to hear from many renowned experts, like Dr. Colleen Shogan (11th Archivist of the US) and former Vermont Governor James Douglas, in various seminars and lectures regarding pressing issues in policy and business, such as education, immigration, free speech, and tariffs.
More information regarding the scholarship can be found at https://coolidgescholars.org/about/, and more information about the Senators program can be found at https://coolidgescholars.org/senators/.
| | Senior Raptors Attend Leadership Seminars Program at the University of Notre Dame | | |
Congratulations to Kate Heichelbech '26 and Jennie Pelic '26, who attended the Leadership Seminars Program at the University of Notre Dame this summer. Leadership Seminars is a competitive, 10-day initiative on Notre Dame's campus for academically talented students who show impressive leadership within their communities. The program is fully-funded and has a 6% acceptance rate. Approximately 150 students are admitted to Leadership Seminars each year. Kate's coursework focused on Inequality in America: America's Social and Economic Inequities. Jennie's program focused on RADIANT (Research, Analytics, Data Innovation, and New Technologies). Kate and Jennie also had the opportunity to volunteer at a local nonprofit.
