The real estate market has ushered in significant changes, including the continued rise of fraud. Not only are you seeing more instances of seller impersonation personally, but your clients are also being targeted more aggressively. A recent survey of U.S. home buyers and sellers found that nearly 1 in 4 are potentially targeted during a closing, with 1 in 20 saying they fell victim.

According to the FBI, this type of crime has risen to $446M in reported losses annually. In this webinar, you'll learn how to better protect yourself and your clients. The following topics will be covered:

• The main types of fraud schemes, including a demonstration of how AI is used to manipulate your buyers
• Consumer expectations of their REALTORS®
• Red flags every agent should watch for, and resources to prevent fraudulent sellers and wires
• Immediate steps to take when you suspect fraud

The LLC rule to allow commission payments to be made to Limited Liability Companies, previously adopted by the Real Estate Commission, was published by the State of New Jersey in the NJ Register on August 19.The LLC rule changes will take effect six months from the NJ Register's publication date.
