Raptors!
One of the many things that makes our school special is its wide variety of clubs and student-driven organizations. Last year, we had almost 90, including the Book Club, the Hummus Club, the Sustainable Fashion Club, and many more!
If you are interested in starting a new club or continuing your club's activities this school year, please take a look at this Google form. It is also posted at the top of this Canvas page under "Home." The form will be due on September 12, 2023, at 11:59 PM.
For those of you who are planning to start a new club this year, you are required to attend one of Dr. Zerbst's club leadership orientations. These will take place on September 14th and 15th in the lecture hall at lunch.
This year, the club fair will be hosted on September 18th and 19th in the breezeway at lunch. This is a time when club leaders can showcase their club and its activities to prospective members.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

SENIORS!
- Make sure to invite any teachers or staff writing recommendations for you to your Common App.
- Goal this week: Get a draft of your Common App essay complete by Labor Day.
- Make a list of any supplemental essays you will need to complete and the dates by which they are due.
-
Read about more fall planning "to dos" here.
-
Assess your college list.
-
The first deadline for early action and early decision applications is October 15th.
- If you are submitting scores, then note it takes time for scores to be sent to meet application deadlines.
|
|
This is an example of testing deadlines for a college with a December 1 Early Decision Deadline. Testing deadlines will be earlier for schools with October and November early decision and early action deadlines.
