As summer is beginning to wind down, I know people were in lots of different places, seeing lots of different examples of this beautiful world that God has blessed us with. One example was Rev. David Annett (Cranston Memorial / Knox) and his family recently in Scotland. Dave shared this these photos of him with John Knox and also his family conveniently getting Nessie to pose with them!

Two "Light" Moments

I saw these two moments within about 1/4 mile of each other a few mornings ago at Winton Woods. Both spoke to me of the power of light to continue to shine even through the shadows that life sometimes brings.

I could definitely offer some of my own suggestions but I'd love to hear what Scripture passages arise for you when you see these?
