Company updates from 8-koi :: autumn 2023

I hope this message finds you well and ready for a shift in seasons. As we transition into fall, I’ve been reflecting on the meaning of excellence, becoming the “Best of the Best,” and how it’s cultivated.

Our 15-year journey to today’s success and the growth of our four divisions—design engineering, construction, technical services and healthcare—have been built on delivering exceptional services and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Inspiring me to celebrate excellence, I proudly share with you that my cherished canine campion, CH Mi-Toi’s Sir Elton by Kanto Cotons, has recently achieved the prestigious title of “Best in Show.” This is a remarkable win within the competitive Coton de Tulear breed and there are valuable lessons to be learned and practiced in pursuit of excellence. Cotons de Tulear are renowned for their affectionate, playful, intelligent, trainable and yes, vocal temperament – character traits most of us could appreciate.

Our outcomes and successes – whether in the show ring or in the business world - share the same foundation: an unwavering commitment to excellence, a quality deeply ingrained in our company's core values. Persistent and consistent training and gained experience, positive team environment and desire to win - and sometimes years of maintaining a stunning coat – makes for the winning edge in competition.

Just as Sir Elton’s journey demanded a winning edge, so does our pursuit of excellence at 8-koi. We continuously refine our skills and invest in our teams’ growth. This is why our team members across the United States are trusted contractors overseeing million-dollar projects, building lasting relationships with repeat clients and customers. It’s customer loyalty and support that serve as a testament to our dedication to excellence. 8-koi has solidified its standing as a “Best in Class” company with an unwavering commitment to excellence. Every time we step into the arena, project site or a meeting space, we bring our very best.

In our relentless pursuit of being the “Best of the Best” in our industry, the values we hold dear in the workplace – passion, excellence, dependability, thoughtfulness – is central to our success focused mindset.

As we navigate our future challenges and opportunities, we resolve to remain the “Best of the Best” and maintain the highest standards in our growth and evolution.

Thank you for your support and trust in us,

Inga I. Young

8-koi Secures New Vendor Agreements for Medical Supplies

“In order to follow through on 8-koi’s promise to do business with a ‘human touch,’ I pursued a relationship with these companies for medical supplies and some medications because they operate with the same values,” said 8-koi Healthcare Program Manager Krista Dupell. “These agreements greatly enhance our customer service when working with government and institutional health care clinics and providers so we can offer a larger catalog and deliver with a faster response.”
