This 90-minute online gathering will focus on liberation and justice in our current climate and will feature keynote speaker the Rev. Dr. William Barber II. The program will provide the opportunity for inspiration, reflection, connection, a chance to check-in with your Alliance family and to hear the state of the Alliance in these unprecedented times.

The Rev. Dr. William Barber II will be the Keynote Speaker for the Alliance of Baptists Online Fall Gathering on October 10, 2020!

Dr. Barber is the President & Senior Lecturer of Repairers of the Breach, Co-Chair of the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call For Moral Revival; Bishop with The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries; Visiting Professor at Union Theological Seminary; Pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church DOC in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and the author of three books: Revive Us Again: Vision and Action in Moral Organizing; The Third Reconstruction: Moral Mondays, Fusion Politics, and The Rise of a New Justice Movement; and Forward Together: A Moral Message For The Nation.

Alan H. Green has been announced as the musical guest for Devoted to Justice: The Alliance of Baptists Fall Gathering 2020!

Alan H. Green is a singer and actor who has been seen on Broadway in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, School of Rock, Sister Act, and Play On! Alan has also performed at Radio City Music Hall, the White House, and at theaters across the country. Among his many TV roles, you might have seen Alan on 30 Rock, Law & Order: SVU, Almost Family, Murphy Brown, Unforgettable, and Peter Pan Live! Alan holds a B.A. in Vocal performance from Rice University in Houston, TX. He is a deacon at congregational partner Metro Baptist Church in New York City. Find him on Instagram at @alanhgreen.
