800 COVID Vaccinations Available for RCSD Employees
The Rochester City School District is pleased to partner with Walgreens to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to RCSD employees. The appointments will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at East High School and on Saturday, March 13 at the Jefferson Campus, 1 Edgerton Park.

Walgreens is providing 800 of the Johnson and Johnson one-dose COVID vaccine for RCSD employees. Superintendent Lesli Myers-Small said, “We have been working with local and state leaders to make sure that we secure as many appointments as possible for our staff members to get this much needed vaccine. Walgreens is a true community partner and they have stepped up to help those who serve our students.”

These sites will be staffed by individuals from Walgreens who will be administering the vaccinations and RCSD staff members will assist with making sure employees have proper documentation.

Superintendent Myers-Small continued, ndividuals who have already received a COVID-19 vaccine, please remember that safety protocols such as mask wearing and social distancing still apply. Everyone in our community who can get vaccinated can make a difference in decreasing the spread of COVID.”

Employees were sent an e-mail this afternoon with information on how to sign up for an appointment on Wednesday, March 10. A separate link to schedule appointments for March 13 will be sent to employees next week.

Employees who get vaccinated will receive a card with proof of vaccination.
