Today, civic participation occurs at many levels. We make impactful decisions about our community every time we make a purchase, vote, post on social media and, of course, volunteer. We think any awareness we can bring to the many resources that might spur individual action for good, falls right in line with what we’re up to at HandsOn.

Clean up your local park!

With the first day of fall just around the corner we are bringing back our park projects! Just in time for the summer heat to cool we will be doing a clean up at a different park around the Valley each month.

Join us on October 8th at 9 am at Desert West Sports Complex to kick off our clean park initiative!

Plus, HandsOn volunteers 13 years and older can make a volunteer profile to track their service hours. We can sign off on student volunteer hours for class, or scholarships, or we encourage your youth to work towards earning the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards.

HandsOn History

After finishing this year's 9/11 weekend of service, here's a throwback to the 9/11 meal pack from 2019. Our Phoenix volunteers packed more than 200,000 meals that were distributed to food banks in the Valley.
