Plan a Project
One way for students to better understand what happened on 9/11 is to have students conduct some research and really engage in some material. Many teachers get creative and organize service projects in their communities, have students conduct oral histories in their communities, plan a small lesson, or coordinate a class project.
Annual Teacher Awards: $500 for Your Classroom
