Panel I: Innovation
Panel I will feature panelists representing both established companies and start-ups, who will detail the challenges and successes encountered throughout their quest to achieve climate goals. Panelists will also share ways the state and region can support their testbeds of tomorrow, with guidance from panel moderator Robert Klee, Professor at Yale School of the Environment.
Panel II: State and Federal Incentives*Sponsored by Noresco
Panel II will reveal strategies for companies and municipalities interested in securing federal and/or state funding for energy investments. Moderated by Bryan Garcia of the Connecticut Green Bank, this discussion will feature state and local officials who will speak to current programs that incentivize energy investments, as well as the sustainability goals they’re working towards.
Panel III: Leadership
Panel III will offer diverse perspectives on leadership as it applies to economic growth; sustainability goals and initiatives; workforce development and training; and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Moderated by Radenka Maric, President at the University of Connecticut, this discussion will feature executives who will explore what it means to be a business leader and share the leadership approaches they’ve found to yield success.
