Family Picnic, sponsored by the Parent Association

Head's Note

A big thank you to the Parents Association (PA) for sponsoring such a delightful Family Picnic over the weekend! This tradition is one of the most enjoyable of the year, and we are so grateful to everyone who made the gathering so memorable.

As we connect with old friends and make new ones at Crossroads, I am grateful for everything the PA does to strengthen the fibers
of our community. In the year ahead, the PA has scheduled many other great events ranging from our annual Trunk-or-Treat (Family Fall Festival) event next month to Family Arts Night  in the second half of the school year. At each of these events, we look forward to sharing experiences and discovering more of the qualities that bring us all together. The connections we share help to make Crossroads the special place that it is!

Your truly,  Brad

From the Health Office

It is flu shot season! The CDC recommends annual influenza vaccination for everyone six months and older with any licensed, influenza vaccine that is appropriate for the recipient's age and health status, with no preference expressed for any one vaccine over another- CDC .

To protect your family from illness and to prevent missed school and work days, please arrange to get your flu shot at one of the local free clinics.  For info on dates and locations for adult and pediatric flu vaccine clinics go to:  DHMC and Community Free Flu Shot Clinics .

Also consider the DHMC outpatient lobby vaccine clinic (in the lobby just inside the garage entrance) available Tuesdays-Wednesdays-Thursdays starting October 8 through October 31. The Lebanon region Flu Vaccine clinic schedule is posted on the health office door. Vaccines are available in Canaan, Enfield, Orford, Plainfield, and South Royalton.
