Help us pick the winners! Two awards given at the inaugural Business Achievement Awards are voted on by the public. The JABA Executive Board has determined criteria and picked nominees for the awards, now we need your help to determine the winner. Below are the two awards and the criteria the Board used to pick selections.

Rising Star Award

Criteria:

-Demonstrates exceptional growth and innovation in their business.

-Shows leadership and potential for long-term success.

-Contributes to the vitality and economic growth of the Johnsburg area.

Community Impact Award

Criteria:

-Actively engages with and supports the Johnsburg community.

-Demonstrates commitment to social responsibility and community service.

-Creates a positive, lasting impact on the lives of residents and fellow businesses.

Johnsburg Celebrates Dolly Parton Day

The Village Board proclaimed September 25, 2026, Dolly Parton Day in Johnsburg. The date is a nod to her song “9 to 5” and a chance to remember the music, warmth, and generosity that made her beloved by generations of fans.

Today, we join communities across the country in celebrating her life and legacy.

Community Sailing School at Pistakee Fundraiser

CSS@P will host its final fundraising event on Sunday, October 11, at the Pistakee Yacht Club. The event will feature a Chicago Bears game and three raffles: a 50/50 raffle, football squares and a meat raffle.
