Nominating Committees Seek Recommendations on Questions for Board Candidates
Submission Deadline today at 4 PM
In preparation for the upcoming Board of Director elections for CSA and ASPPPO, the Nominating Committees of each of these Boards are asking Sea Pines Property Owners for recommendations on candidate questions in advance.

The Nominating Committees of CSA and ASPPPO will review the questions submitted by the community and select questions to ask of all candidates. Each candidate will receive the same list of questions and be able to provide their answers which will be posted to the SeaPinesLiving.com website.

Candidate bios, photos of candidates and their answer as to “Why they wish to serve the Sea Pines Community” and their answers from the selected community questions will also be posted on the Sea Pines Living website on or around Oct 15 th , 2019.

Recommendations on candidates questions will be collected from September 20 through September 27 and should be submitted to Joan Berger, CSA Document Administrator by email at  joan@csaseapines.com  by  Friday, September 27th, 2019 by 4:00 PM.
Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Updates
Boardwalk Repairs
 
  • Construction of Boardwalk #25 was delayed and restarted on Monday, September 23rd.
  • Work will be completed next week, weather permitting.
  • Property owners should use Boardwalks #24 and #26 during construction on #25.
  • Construction of Boardwalk #26 will follow, weather permitting.
  • Work will last approximately two weeks.
Widening of the North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail
 
  • The North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail widening project is underway and expected to be completed next week, weather permitting.
  • Signs are posted for bikers to dismount and walk their bikes through the Marriott Monarch Parking Lot when the trail is not passable.

Ruddy Turnstone Road Work Project

  • The Town of Hilton Head Island crews continue their work to make drainage repairs and improvements along Ruddy Turnstone Road.
  • Work is expected to be finished in two weeks, weather permitting.
Plantation Drive Leisure Trail Project

  • The resurfacing of Plantation Drive Leisure Trail from Greenwood Drive to Lighthouse Road will begin week of October 7th
  • Work will include milling and resurfacing the Leisure Trail along the project area.
  • The project is expected to take 1 - 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting
  • There will be "walk your bike" signs asking you to dismount and walk in the areas that are currently under active construction.
Lighthouse Road Resurfacing and Infrastructure Repair Project

  • Infrastructure repair and road resurfacing of Lighthouse Road from Plantation Drive to Harbour Town will begin week of October 14th.
  • The project includes drainage work, curb repairs, realigning crosswalks and road resurfacing.
  • During this project traffic will alternate lanes with flag persons, as the drainage work will take place in the roadway.
  • The project is expected to take 12 weeks, weather permitting.
Commercial landscapers

Commercial landscapers are NOT permitted to dump landscaping debris in the neighborhood drop sites or roadside within Sea Pines.  

 Landscape service providers caught dumping in non-authorized locations as noted above may be cited and escorted off of the Plantation. Please help by notifying your landscape service provider of this restriction.

Applications are now being accepted.
 
Spaces are available to Sea Pines property owners for $30 with all proceeds benefiting the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. Click here for an application or you can stop by CSA at 175 Greenwood Drive, to reserve your spot. Payment (cash or check) must accompany your application.

All applications and fees must be received by 4:30 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019. Space number(s) will not be assigned until payment is received.
