The Morning Star Weekly Newsletter Vol 5, Edition 5 9/8/2020

|
Dear Morning Star Families & Friends,
|
The Diocese has partnered with Health Hero Florida, providers of vaccinations for schools. Health Hero Florida will be offering a Flu Shot Clinic at Morning Star on Tuesday, September 22. The vaccination is free and is a service for all of our students, regardless of any healthcare coverage. You are in no way required to have your child vaccinated. If you would like your child to be vaccinated with the flu shot, please complete the consent form (link below) and return it to school by September 18th.
Remote learners are also included and are welcome to come to school that day to receive the flu shot. A schedule, similar to the one used for picture day, will be created prior to the clinic.
If you would like to take advantage of this service, a parent or guardian must fill out and return the consent form. You may return the form via email to [email protected], fax at 904-721-1040, or send it in with your child. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email or phone.
Blessings,

Primary read a story about a boy who visits his dad's building site to help out. We then donned our hard hats and visited our own building construction site. Students were able to ask Mr. Titus (outdoor fitness area project manager) many questions about the project, the site plan and how construction was going.

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER...
- Turn in your box tops weekly. They do expire.
- Be sure to NOT cut the code off. We cannot use it if the code is missing even one of the digits
- Place them in a zip lock bag and send them in with your student.
