ODYSSEY CHARTER SCHOOL
FEEDING THE FUTURE

Earth's population is expected to surpass 9 billion people by 2050. This means agriculturally, 59-98% more food needs to be produced to meet the demand. Melissa Tracy took her awareness of this need and made a first-of-its-kind leap for a Delaware school—offer a Food Studies Career and Technical Pathway (CTE) to the students of Odyssey Charter School. BECOME AN AMBASSADOR

We are seeking individuals to serve in our Ambassador program. As a key volunteer for the State Chamber team, Ambassadors will serve as outward-facing representatives of the organization with three key goals:

1. Fostering new relationships
2. Engaging member businesses and the community as a whole
3. Amplifying the voice and mission of the State Chamber

your first job was in the restaurant industry—the nation’s second-largest private-sector employer. ... The Delaware Restaurant Association is known for its successful support of the state’s ProStart Program, an educational pathway with 3,000 Delaware students studying for careers in culinary and hospitality management in 21 high schools and correctional facilities. BLOOM IS POWERING THEIR PIPELINE THROUGH INTERNSHIPS

Bloom Energy's innovative fuel cell and electrolyzer technology requires a
constant pipeline of intelligent individuals with technical, engineering, and other skills to keep the clean energy industry moving forward. Through its internships, Bloom is developing the workforce necessary to grow clean energy, in Delaware and beyond. Read more >
HANDS-ON LEARNING AT WHITNEY ATHELTIC CENTER

In 2021, the Whitney Athletic Center opened its doors at the University of Delaware. This beautiful, state-of-the-art building was built with two purposes: to provide the necessary resources for student-athletes to succeed at the highest level; and to offer opportunity to all UD students to gain practical experience in their degree of study.
