LeRoy White Soul & Conscience award is presented annually to a musician of any age or situation whose life and/or art contributes to and connects the community. LeRoy's family honors his legacy by offering an award of $4000 each year to be used in any manner, by a musician who embodies the spirit of LeRoy’s gift to Newport and the world.
Taking to the stage with his keyboard rig and DIY drums, Greg "Greggy Good" Ferreira is a multi-instrumentalist Lo-Fi Reggae Cumbia artist with a true passion for music. He mixes a vibrant and diverse palette of inspirations into his lively sound, so whether you’re looking to dance or just relax and enjoy, it’s feel good music you can groove to.
Tinney Family Arts Scholarship:
Presented by Harle Tinney and the ACA, the $2,000.00 Tinney Family Arts Scholarship is awarded to a serious Arts student (of any discipline) who is a senior in high school who lives in Newport County.

Cassie Taber is a graduating senior from Tiverton High School this June. She will be attending Endicott College next year majoring in studio arts, with a minor in secondary education.

ACA Artist Award:
The ACA offers the Artist Awards (up to $500) to support art projects that benefit our community. Awarded to residents of Newport County, projects mut be available to the public and can fall artstic genre category: fine arts, visual arts (illustration, graphic design, multimedia), performing arts, the literary arts (creative writing, poetry), music (performance, composing), theatre, etc.

Historic Music of Newport, begun by founder and director Mark Stickney, was founded in 2022 to preserve the rich musical heritage of Newport, RI. The ACA Artist Award is presented so the HMN can host 5 free concerts at Touro Park featuring community bands from arount the state.
The Dominique Award:
The Dominique Award honors champions for the arts and artists in the Newport County community. Recipients demonstrate a commitment to keeping the arts alive in our community with a collaborative and positive spirit, going above and beyond in their support of Newport’s cultural landscape.
Presented this year to Lynne Tungett, publisher and editor of Newport This Week, Lynne began with a part-time job selling classified ads to founding Newport Life magazine and then rehabbing Newport This Week. All the while, Lynne has stayed involved in the community by serving on the board of the Newport Chamber of Commerce, organizing the Broadway Street Fairs, and promoting and supporting artists all across Newport County.
