Construction Update

July 30, 2025

Ongoing Activities

The asphalt removal and replacement project between Bangerter Highway and Redwood Road is nearly complete.

Remaining work includes

  • Profile grinding at various locations along 9000 South. Profile grinding will smooth transitions and improve drainage. This will will take place overnight in the coming weeks lasting approximately two nights.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and material/equipment availability.

Nearly all of the work on this project is completed with all work impacting traffic lanes finished. No further lane closures or night work will be needed.

Crews have completed the asphalt removal and replacement portion of the project and will finish the entire project by the end of July.

These lane lines and road markings are grooved in to the road to prevent being damaged by snow plows.
