Ongoing Activities

Overnight work to remove and replace the asphalt on 9000 South continues for the next several weeks. Work will take place through this Thursday night then M - F night of next week. All work will take place between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.).

Work this week and into next week will start at Bangerter Highway and work east to Redwood Road in the bicycle lane and outside lane. Work will shift to the westbound bicycle lane and outside lane working back toward Bangerter Highway.

During work hours, drivers can expect lane closures and delays up to 10 minutes to cross 9000 South while equipment passes.

Area residents can expect an increase in overnight noise, dust, vibration, and area lighting.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and material/equipment availability.

Crews have lowered all of the manhole covers on 9000 South in preparation for the asphalt removal starting tonight.

Crews have finished all of the ADA pedestrian ramps and asphalt removal/replacement of the side streets connecting to 9000 South. This photo is at 1870 West looking west.
